Can criminals leave the country?
If a criminal can legally get a passport, then yes, he can legally leave the country. Upon successful completion of his or her prison, probation, or suspended sentence, a convicted felon should be able to obtain a passport and subsequently travel outside of the United States without much trouble.
Remember that being charged with a felony will not affect the issuance of a passport as long as the applicant is not currently banned from leaving the country, is not on probation or probation, and is not awaiting trial.

What factors prevent ex-offenders from visiting inmates?
All prison authorities are strict when it comes to granting a visit to an ex-convict. A ex-offender visitor must complete a waiting period in order to be permitted to visit. This waiting time is usually between one and six weeks.
However, the length of the waiting time depends on the decision of the enforcement authority. If any of the criteria below apply to you, the chances of admission are slim. In individual cases, the enforcement authority may also grant a longer waiting period. If you apply for a permit to visit the prison, make sure that you do not hide your details.
